Free water to be handed out as Muscat goes dry
Muscat: Extensive plans are in place to meet the water shortage as the city braces up for a dry weekend.
Confirming this, a senior official of Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) said that they will be distributing five-litre water bottles free of charge at 19 locations in Muscat on February 13 and 14.
"Besides these, a fleet of water tankers will be stationed at 11 places in Muscat to prevent shortage during the weekend," said the official.
