Oman camel race contest held at Al Fulaij
Muscat: The qualifying race for the final race of His Majesty the Sultan's Camel Race Cup kicked-off at the race track in Al Fulaij in the Wilayat of Barka on Wednesday. The race is being organised by the Royal Court Affairs (RCA), represented by the Royal Camel Corps.
The races included 10 rounds as 5 rounds were allocated for Al Haja'ej, 4 rounds for Al Laqaya and 1 round for long Al Ardhah.
In the 1st round, allocated for Al Haja'ej category, 'Shawaheen' owned by Hamad bin Mohammed Al Der'ei came first. In the 2nd round allocated for Al Haja'ej category, 'Faz'ah' owned by Mattar bin Mubarak Al Wihibi came first. In the 3rd round allocated for Al Haja'ej category, 'Ba'tharah' owned by Hamdan bin Said Al Askari came first.
In the 4th round allocated for Al Haja'ej category, 'Al Zamae'm' owned by Ali bin Twairish Al Wihibi came first.
In the 5th round allocated for Al Haja'ej category, 'Al Hathrah' owned by Abdullah bin Hamad Al Gadaili came first.
In the 6th round allocated for Al Laqaya category, 'Al Shahiniyah' owned by Sultan bin Hamoud Al Gahafi came first.
In the 7th round allocated for Al Laqaya category, 'Al Dhabi' owned by Mohammed bin Humaid Al Wihibi came first.
In the 8th round allocated for Al Laqaya category, 'Tahthir' owned by Talib bin Said Al Askari came first.
In the 9th round allocated for Al Laqaya, 'Mazyounah' owned by Hamoud bin Salim Al Wihibi came first.
In the 10th round allocated for Al Ardhah category, 'Sarabah' owned by Salayum bin Al Saghir Al Wihibi came first.
